Body Weight Workouts

No gear is needed for bodyweight exercises and you can do them at home at or on the go no matter what your schedule is like. They’re a remarkably multipurpose fitness resource that may be used to develop muscle and burn off body fat. It is possible to do them anyplace, at any time, irrespective of whether you might have an hour or so or a short while to spare, perfect for me as a hairstylist who loves to travel to different conventions and different states. Life can be hectic and when your stuck in a salon for 13 hours performing all kinds of hair straightening treatments, everything from the Brazilian blow dry to a keratin hair treatment and after a full day in the salon with all the chemicals in the air and constant walking back and forth and dealing with customers a good work out is what I need.

Bodyweight Exercises

Bodyweight exercises can not only gain muscle definition but some have been known to burn off nearly 1,000 calories per hour. This means with just several hours of exercising each week with this fashion, it is possible to burn off a significant amount of body fat.

As well as burning tons of calories, these exercises also enhance your muscle mass with time and work your muscles.

Burpees are among the most notable bodyweight exercise. Not only do they smash through a remarkable 546 calories per hour but in addition they give an intense work out to all the muscles in your body. To do a burpee squat down and put your hands on the ground before you. Do a push pull your feet back. The hop into the air, reaching your arms directly overhead.

Step ups are awesome and tone all the muscles in your legs up and are a straightforward bodyweight exercise that burns off close to 1,000 calories per hour, talk about an exercise your heart can benefit from. Then step on and off rapidly, ensuring that you just change the foot that steps each time to do step ups, only discover a step.

Jump squats are another strong bodyweight exercise and target the muscles in a way conventional squats can’t hit. An extraordinary 900 calories per hour can be achieved when properly done and maximized with little to no rest in between. To do jump squats, stand with both feetĀ  hip width apart with a slight bend in the knees for a solid push, drop your body until your bottom is parallel with the floor slowly bending your knees and then straighten your knees up and jump in the air and repeat.

Jumping jacks burn off over 500 calories per hour and exercise your leg muscles, understandably most people aren’t going to do jumping jacks for a solid hour, try doing them for 5-10 minutes as a warm up. Performing the perfect jumping jack consists of jumping in the air and stretch legs and your arms and hop in the atmosphere bringing back your arms and legs to the starting place.

Always remember to stretch my friends, I myself have had injuries due to bad formation or plain and simple just not properly warmed up and not stretched. Please take an extra 15 minutes to get a good stretch in and you won’t have to take 3 months due to a shoulder injury.
